In this installation, there are about over a hundred portable record players without records. In the space, turntables scattered everywhere, high and low, right and left, produce noises by the rotating friction, resonating in multilayer. Quiet, low-fi sounds form groups and change the entire image of sounds. This works provide people with an opportunity to reconsider the meaning, possibilities, and historical significance of sound art composed of records and turntables, which are being consigned to oblivion in the digital age.

Takashi Murakami

Latest work he has made after the big earthquake in Japan last year.
100 m long of GOHYAKU RAKAN（五百羅漢図） painting is incredible.
Gohyaku is 500 in Japanese and Rakan is sort of Shaka's (Buddha) pupils.
He said him and his team drew around 482 rakans in here.
Really would like to see them in real.

Hyperdub tour in France

So last month in March, King Midas, Kode9 and Ikonika played in Nantte, Lille and Paris.
The Paris show was massive and sonic empower!
On the way, I was in gigantic polka dot super Mario flowers in Lille. It was actually sculpture by Yayoi Kusama!!!! Check out the end of vid. Our hyperdub boss Kode 9 is singing Cool Out. It was 8.5 out of 10...
We had sound trouble at sound check in Nantte. So I burned the sage to clear the air and Kevin. It f**in worked!!
